Realised I hadnt put the table and chairs pic on yet!

Here they are - I think the chairs are a bit bright am wondering if they would spray them over in a darker shade that Cooking Apple or perhaps a bit darker cream sort of a mucky version?? Ideas please on a postcard.........
We already had two chairs in a smaller version but I would like another odd windsor for the end, pluss it extends another place setting so the smaller version chair will go with the small table in the conservatory - where it may become blue!!

This is Alan's shed/workshop - he loves it and has it nearly all shleved out. He has just left with some stuff - we are at the annual village jumble sale tonight - where we help out and get first choice of everything!! Excited or what?? I love this jumble sale...........................Hope to have some goddies to show you tomorrow when its snowing??

Wow! I love the photographs. believe me this has so inspired me to get on with my spring cleaning! There are a few jobs I want to finish in the garden today and am hoping the weather holds for the morning in order to do them. However the weather forecast is poor for the weekend so spring cleaning is an ideal thing to do.

Thanks

I like the table and chairs. I am no expert with paint believe me but I would maybe paint the legs etc to compliment the main colour accessories I was going to use around the kitchen/dining area. If that is cream, then I would leave them the colour they are. What about hubby's workshop, you won't get to see him much now, I bet he has a heater in there, like mine does. I hope you did well at the jumble? Yes, snow on the horizon for the weekend? x

Hi Cathrine, love the table and chairs, I would try living with them for a while, you may find you don't want to paint them after all!
Have a lovely weekend,
Lucy x

Lovely table and chairs. Your kitchen looks very light even at this time of year, I think slightly darker chairs might look nice.

Hi Catherine
I didn't realize it had been so long since I last visited you. with being away for 2 weeks it really put me behind. SO now I am going to have a lovely time seeing what you've been doing with your new home. Lucky hubby having a shed. Hope you have a place of your own too!

I have been catching up with all your posts of your new house as I haven't visited since you finally moved. Your new house looks lovely and you are so busy decorating to put your own stamp on it. We move on the 21st and there isn't one room in our new house which is decorated to our taste so I will be doing the same. Fortunately, I like painting so can't wait to get started. I like the table and chairs, I think they are nice as they are.

Hi there - thanks for visiting my blog - the fabric which Debbie at country heart and home bought from me was £12.99 a metre. I don't have an online shop just yet, I just sent her a paypal invoice. Please let me know if you would like any, I am happy to post it on to you (or a sample)- Natalie x P.S - Good luck in your new home!

Hi Catherine
you have a really lovely looking house there. I just love bay windows - it's always been a must have in all our(2!)houses we have lived in. I think there is nothing like house making. I know it's hard work but such a personal thing that is a reflection of who we are. Hope you are enjoying it. Thank you for your kind comments.

So soz for not getting back to you sooner!, Loving that table and chairs...Although I do think perhaps if the chairs were painted in a mossy green colour it would be a little more rustic french farmhouse looking, but, you may find with a little ware over time the white chairs would probably give you more of the look you want. Do whatever your heart tells you...even it it seems a little scary you'll be pleased that you had the guts to take the gamble! They will look fab!
I hope this helps your decision, Jen x
